Could the light be related with growth of the Diatoms algae?

Hi to all,
I am having a diatoms algae attack and because of that i am looking for some posible causes, I already checked my water and it looks ok, I did not find PO4,NO2 however I found NO3 >=10mg/l. I really don't know if this could be the cause of this atack. However, I am thinking if the lights are related with the increment of diatoms algae. , I already have installed a 150 Watts Bulb, 10000 kelvin and 2 aticnic blue bulbs of 65 watts, it had been running for 8 mounths. Could be this bulb the responsable of the diatoms attack?

Thanks in advance for you help.
