New tank equipment and stuff needed?

I'm looking for a little list of everything I'm going to be needing to get my JBJ 12g nano up and running. Like heater? tests? chems? other equipment? mods to help it out? how to setup the back chambers for most efficient filtering and such, names and brands would be a + but a general list would be just as helpful, probably going to go tomorrow to buy most the stuff, tank wont be here till next Wednesday. Would just rather be ready for it, then getting it here and rushing and inevitably forgetting something important, Thanks alot!
Alex.

Thing to get.

refractometer
refractometer calibration solution
test kits for ammonia, nitrates, nitrites, pH
buckets
rubber maid container to mix salt water in.
Heater for tank
another heater for mixing salt water
small powerhead/pump for mixing saltwater

You need decide what kind of tank your setting up. Get live rock and sand don't add anything else, let it cycle. After the ammonia and nitrites levels rise and then drop to zero your ready to start adding a clean up crew. This will take weeks.

Read the nano section for tips on setting up the back, don't use the bio media.

Read the chemistry section articles about Salinity, pH and alkalinity.

read about the nitrogen cycle.

Good luck and ask plenty of question. Remember Don't rush it, only bad things will happen if you do.
