dsb or regular?
i am setting up a sps tank and i was wondering if it was harder to maintain a dsb than a regular. i plan on having a jawfish so i want to know if it's hard.

DSB so it can hold your jawfish and aid in the biological filtration.

With the right livestock, you never need to maintain it. Every morning my tank looks like a japanese garden with all of the trails in the sand.

so what kind of cuc should i have for a dsb?

By regular do you mean bare bottom or only a couple inches of sand?
I guess my line of thinking is that if you are going to have sand in a tank and deal with the mess it can sometimes cause.. why not make it a functional part of the ecosystem? |
