What do you clean the front on acrylic tanks with?

Just wondering if windex and a paper towel are ok?

thats what i use.Although i have a glass tank.

buy Novus #1 with a microfiber rag.
don't use a glass cleaner.
or use water and a really soft cloth

Technically you are not supposed to use paper towels, but most people do. It can lead to the pane getting hazy with micro-scratches though. I would get something made specially to clean acrylic.

100% cotton and a spray bottle with water or acrylic spray.

don't use paper towels. over time it will give you microscratches. I use a microfiber cloth on mine with just plain fresh water.

NOOOOO!!!!! to Windex for acrylic!!!

I use a cotton baby diaper and a product called Brillianize.

Since I have a Mac I have this iKlear plastic polish. That with a microfiber cloth. Paper towels will eventually net you hairline scratches on your acrylic.

Sorry to thread jack, but what brand magnets do people recomend for acrylic. Also what else does everyone use to clean the algea from the inside. I am just setting up my first acrylic tank and would like to get some ideas.

I get two towels, One is dry and the other is wet wipe the tank and then dry.

Don't use glass cleaner on acrylic, it will cause it to get cloudy over time.
I wouldn't use windex even on glass, it has ammonia & I'd worry about mist going in the tank.
There are acrylic cleaner/polishers in pump bottles at some hardware and craft stores.
