out with old, in with new
Well, I got home yesterday night and did what most of us do...go straight for the tank. I stood there and watched for a few minutes, just looking, and something hit me. Something was missing. As I started to take a roll call, I figured out that my flame hawkfish, who has been with me since the beginning of my saltwater adventure was not there. I looked everywhere (sadly, there aren't many places to hide...yet). I even looked around the tank, even though I knew that his 3.5" body couldn't get out behind the lid. No fish. He is gone. It's going to take a while to find another with his kind of personality. He really paid attention to what was going on outside the tank. Any of you get attatched to one of your "housemates"?
It was in the plan around this time to get a few more additions, so I went ahead and bought two hawaiian feather dusters and a sebae anemone with blue tips. All three look healthy and are waiting the few week QT time before they get placed into there new home. Cheers

If it's any consolation, most hawks have similar personalities, should you get a new one you can expect much of the same behavior.
