octopus nw110
cant use the search function as its down so i was trying to get some of the members with substained reefs there opinions on the octopus nw 110. i will be using this on a 75 gallon total capacity tank. thanks alot guys

Hey there,
I would get the recirculating model if you can afford the extra $$ it basically runs the water through the skimmer a bit more before it runs back to the tank, this feature removes a little more debris I am running a 110 recirc on my 60 gallon with a 29 gallon sump. Hope this helps ;-)

Have my NW150 up and running on my 110 (w/20 gallon sump)
and it is working great...no mods just plugged it in and it's pulling out junk like crazy....and it is QUIET....JMO |

so the size compared to the of the unit is a good size for the tank size i have. seems there is alot of BS skimmers on the market and this is the one the local stores swear by. has anyone ever heard of the Octopus Downdraft model 150 what the diffrence in the downdraft model to the unit i am looking at? which do you guys think is better? thanks alot
