Acclimating Clam to light

I just bought a clam at my LFS. I already have two others under a 250W 14K lamp. They are about 30in. from the light and about 23in. under water. The clam I just bought was under a 150W 10K, but in very shallow water and about 24in. from the light. Being that my tank is much deeper and my 14K probably doesn't penetrate the water as much as the 10K, do you think that I need to acclimate him at all to the stronger light?

I don't think that acclimation is going to be necessary, but I'd probably play it safe, personally.
