new lighting setups

So, Im sure this questions has been played out before, but for the first time Im setting up a 90gal and trying to grow a nice sps forest. right now Im seting up with 2 250w icecap ballasts, with lumenarc III reflectors, and Id like to use xm 20000k bulbs....two questions, 1) will this be enough light? should I add a 400w w/lumenarc in between these two? 2) If I just use the previous 2 xm 20000k's would I be able to omit using additional acentic bulbs? Im really tryin to avoid using any bulbs but the halides. Ive been told that these bulbs have a tendency to give a nice crisp blue white color. thanks for the suggestions and responses.
