Filters? What 2 use?

Just looking for opinions on the FX5. I've bought one, haven't used it and now hav'n 2nd thoughts.

I dont know about that one. I know most do the sumps. with the canister filters to polish the water from time to time.

Canisters arent usually good salt water filters. They trap too much debris and are hard to work with. I would sell it and buy a very nice protein skimmer instead. Do you have a sump?

I know most do the sumps. with the canister filters to polish the water from time to time. __________________ If it was'nt for the sea I could not see or sing ( Jimmy Buffet ) I like to glue animals to rocks and put disturbing amounts of electricity and saltwater next to each other Reefing is'nt how long you been in it. It is how deep you get in it. Current Tank Info: 400g display build, 300g sump, 75g ATO, 75g refug and a few more. Close to a 1000g. 200g mixing station.
