Any ideas on the reason for the failure?? Any stress cracks any place else?? Was marveling at your sale thread and searched to see who I would be dealing with. Then saw this. Why is it broke in the shape it is in, do you know what I mean?? I wonder if something thumped the tank in that corner of the pie (broken piece). Do you think the tank is in danger??
Fix. Do you think it can be fixed?? Do you think one can lay a piece of glass on top of that area....maybe not now that I think about it. Might wanna ask in the big tank forum and see if anyone has dealt with this type of thing. |

Did the glass break off an fall in? Who manufactured the tank?
You should be fine without a brace for a minimal amount of time, but I suggest you either get that fixed or replaced soon. Alex |

I siliconed the piece back in and a 5.5" X 10" piece of glass over it.
