Dual Actinics

Is one supposed to be like "OFF" looking on the duals, because I ordered my Orbit 30" last week, got it and everything and its dual daylight dual actinic, and when I turn on the actinic one of the duals looks like its off or very very dim, so I called them and told them they shipped me out another bulb brand new,,,, same thing, and it can't be the fixture because if I flip the bulb around the one that was working goes dim, and the one that wasnt working stays on... but on the exact opposite side, like the bulb is intended for that... I NEED HELP .,

This is an issue we deal with almost daily! The Current Dual Actinic has one side emitting 460nm Actinic that looks "bright" to the human eye, the other side is emitting 420nm Actinic that is very dim to the human eye. The result is a bulb that looks like only one side is working! Be assured that both sides are "on" and some report that the 420nm light is actually better for the corals.

lmfao,,,, cuz this bulb did the exact same thing the other bulb did,,, so it must be working.... haha i was just wondering because i saw different wattages on the website or something or NM like ur talking about. well hey COOL you made my day, thansk a bunch. :-) and thank you MARINEDEPOT! =]
