CL intake in sump?
Is it a good idea to have the intake for my closed loop in my sump?? Right now it is about 4 " below the surface in my DT. I am not sure why I put it there, and if it will work in the sump than that would mean one less piece of plumbing in my DT! It would also be about 1-2" higher than the pump itself (if it were in the sump)

Then it's not a CL, just another sump return.
Also think how it would be plumbed, if the power went out would your display drain back through the pump to your sump? |

not only that, but will your drain be able to handle both pumps?
