NEW TANK I want to install a sump in my basement
I purchased a new 120gal tank 48 inch long. I want to place my sump in the basement and was wondering how to hook up my pump so it will flow evenly to the two overflows/discharges. I'm thinking that after I y them off the pump I can controll the flow with ball valves. Is this the correct way ?

Is your concern about is the water going to be draining the same from the two overflows? If so, if the overflow are the same height and the tank is level, the flow will basically balance out. I wouldn't be retricting flow.
fyi here's a thread on basement sumps http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...readid=1012480 |
