long, white string out of hippo's b-hole!

My Hippo has a 3" white string hanging from his anus. Seems completly fine otherwise. Will it come out with next poop?

Do a search on disease. I believe that this is a sign of internal parasites.

I double that internal parasites. Try to dose garlic additives in the food that your hippo eats at a excessive level until the string goes away. After that just lightly dose garlic additives from prevention.
