opinions of the 150w Reeflux 12k/elec. ballast.

What do you think of this lamp? Experience, ballast used, color, growth. Any and all info appreciated.

I've used the 12K and 10K on ballastwise electronic ballasts, I really liked the 12K, very crisp blue/white. The 10K were very bright, and were very white. Most of the corals colors popped, though I still had to use a little actinic to get a couple corals to look their best.

I think you could get by with the 12K w/o supplements. as far as yellow, there may have been the slightest bit, but IMO they were just really bright white. The yellow could come from your water too.

Thanks topherc84. 12k w/o sup. 10k slight possible slight yellow but bright white. I agree, water quality effects the appearance of the lamps color. Hows the PAR on the Reeflux 12k?
