Lighting question for a 75 gal tank.
I currently have a 75 gal tank (48"x18"x21") and am thinking about upgrading to MH. I found a 400 wt, 10,000K MH light on the internet. Would one be enough or would I need two??? Right now I only have soft corals (nothing that requires a lot of light) but I would like to expand my collection. I've also been looking at LED moon lights. What's the difference between moon lights and actinics???
Thanks, Keith |

To Reef Central One bulb won't give you enough coverage for a 75, and an 400 watt one would be overkill. I personally have 2 *250 ( DE ) over my 75, with 2 *54 T5 for actinics. Moon lights are mainly for a little light over the tank when all the other lights are off. The halides ( and actinics for that matter ) would wash them out.
