Starvation, your tank may be finding a balance.

I have been told that there are some kinds of algae that will kill snails. I don't know this for a fact, maybe someone else can add in here.

Just passing on a post from a thread this week, "a lot of Turbows come frome much cooler water in Mexico, and can not take the warmer water of a Reef tank". I do not know if this is fact, just passing it on.

I have heard a guy say he stunned all his molusks with a huge dose of mag( i think it was mag.) I think he said they came back to life after a week or 2. If i remeber he dosed from 1200 to 2200 or something in one shot.

Its a total guess no facts at all. maybe the water they came in was low in mag, and your water is high in mag?

I don't think this true beacuase i have mexican turbos and the water of my tank stays consistent at 80 degrees. The only time they die is when they fall over and can't get up and the crabs get them.
