is a 75g FOWLR too small for a yellow tang?

thats my question
tank is 4ft long
will the yellow tang outgrow my tank?
it will be the only yellow tang, the only tang i own

is this ok?

It will eventually outgrow your tank

ok so i guess ill have to buy a different fish instead

whats the smallest tang out there that can fit 75g?

ya i was about to say that kole tangs are only up to 6inches

so 1 of them would be perfect?

i think it all depends on how you stock your tank.
if you want a Zebrasoma flavescens stock the tank light, run a big sump and make sure you keep your levels up to par.

personally i think a yellow is fine in a lightly stocked 75

alright, as i add each fish, i will ask for advice, i will add these fish in order then after that, i dont know

1. RBTA
2. Pair of percs
3. Flame Angel
4. Royal Gramma
5. Kole tang

after kole tang i dunno

is that a good list?

i wont go too heavy on the LR though

Here's a link that may help you decide on the issue. Another thing that can be useful is to go visit an aquarium that has some and watch them for 20-30 minutes. HTH
