How lethal is really a Mantis Shrimp?

I have a Mantis Shrimp in my tank, the first time I listened his click, I only smile and didn’t worry about it. As the months are passing by his click is getting very strong. I'm not sure if the Mantis did it, but my fire fish suddenly disappeared.

How lethal is really a Mantis Shrimp for my fishes, and more than this, can mantis hurt my hands when I moving rocks ?

They can kill fish and they can harm you.

Be careful.

The striker claw of a mantis shrimp has the power of a .22 bullet. They are carnivores. Does that give you any ideas????

Only the largest of mantids (peacock) have a striking force approaching that of a .22. believe me, if you had one of those you'd know it. set up a bottle trap and catch it, then send it to me
