Bleach/Changing RO filters

I am going to change my RO filters this weekend. I am also using (2) two gallon pressure tanks that are hooked up to the RO unit. Should I run bleach through the system to disinfect? If so, how do I go about doing this. I remember seeing something about this in the instructions, but I seemed to have thrown them out.

TIA

Awesome, thanks for the link. 2 questions

1) I am a little leary about putting bleach into the R.O system because I will be using the water from the R.O in my aquarium. How long should I flush the system before I use the water?

2) Have you ever had to recharge your pressure tanks?

Thanks.

Try using hydrogen peroxide instead of bleach. It will not have the lingering effects bleach has and is just as good an oxidizer.
