Gen X PCX 40 external pump
Well, I installed my external pump lastnight. The installation went great as in no leaks. However, I have micro bubbles coming from the returns that were not there before this pump. All of my sponges are in place and there are no micro bubbles in the return section of my sump. However they are in the display tank. Anyone ever had bubble problems with this pump?

double check all your plumbing. I had the same issue, and I smeared a very small amount of silicone around the joints in pvc, the bubbles stopped. It was sucking air somewhere

I found it. I took the whole thing apart and started over again. Although I used teflon tape and clamps on everything, something was sucking air. I re did it all and now, no bubbles. I guess my first job was sloppy but, I can say, this is my first external pump. Thanks for your comments and help.
