gen x pumps...40 model
Any of you recommend gen x pumps... I've heard good things about them just want more opinions.....Are they quiet and reliable, efficient as they say???????

I have had a Gen-X 40 running on a closed loop for my chiller for 3 yrs. 24/7. So I'd say it is reliable.
It is not particularly loud but it does have a whirring sound, but mine is in the garage so I don't notice. It is much quieter than the last external Little Giant I had. Don't know about efficiency. |

I just connected mine today. Crazy power. I t'ed mine off and got rid of my internal return, UV and chiller pumps. Temps in the tank are very happy I got rid of all those pumps.

I used a pcx-40 for my Beckett skimmers and works great. Magnetic drive won't give you seal problems either.
