Would a Aqua Euro 250 be able to handle a 250gallon SPS tank?

I have just got an Aqua Euro 250 in sump skimmer, manufacturer claims tank size of 250gal. So my question is if I modified the 2x pump needlewheels to a mesh mod. Would it handle a heavy bioload 250gal total water volume.

180gal tank
50gal sump
20gal refugium

Otherwise I will just sell the badboy and put the money towards a bigger skimmer. This thing is a monster though!
