first pics of 70 reef....

my first attempt at photographing the 70, any suggestion on taking better pics would be greatly appreciated. the colors don't pop in pics like they should and the depth of field seems awfully small. i'll take some more pics in the morning from above to better show the rockworks caves and overhangs. btw....yes, i know its a very crowded tank. i like it that way and the corals and i'll trim and remove corals as necessary as they grow and i know it will be soon!

How are the gorgonians doing in your tank?

Also, where in Michigan are you? I'm moving to Ann Arbor for grad school in June.

thanks pondy.....trying to figure out how to take pics to show the color better.

my gorgonians are doing great, even this tank is only 2 months old, i've had them for about a year. i am north of detroit. good luck at Uof M, my son is graduating from columbia in may and is thinking of grad school there in the fall. i get to a couple of michigan football games a year, maybe i'll show you some of the better watering holes there.

The pics show up fine for me. I really like the density in the tank. Mine is spartan and a bit bland by comparison.

I'd definitely appreciate a tour of the Ann Arbor pubs. I'm coming from Athens, Ga, which is definitely a great bar town.

thanks everyone.....

we'll have some beers in AA when you're here styndall....that is if you don't mind throwing a few down with an old man..lol.

edwing, thanks and i just picked up the elegance last week. not sure if it will stay in the display tank, might move into the sump with a large green carpet anenome to give it room to spread out until i move up to a bigger tank.
