Question about lighting,refug,powerheads

I'm setting up a 135 gal Fowler wth 30 gal refug I would like suggestions on lighting on main tank and how many powerheads to use and where to position them, and which substrate to use in my refug, sand, miracle mudd, both. tank dim 72"-18"-24" Thanks!!!

well for a FOWLR setup just the standard NO lights will do. but if you ever want corals you will have to upgrade.

for powerheads i would go with tunze, korila's, seio's, or maxi jets with the mods. you will prob. need about 4 of them around the tank. as for where to place them that is hard to say as alot of factors are needed. just keep placing them so you don't have any dead spots in the tank for poop and alage to settle. you will want a min. of 10-20x turnover with the powerheads. so on the 135 gal. tank you will want the powerheads to equal 1350gph - 2700gph more can be used though.

for the fuge I use sand, LR rubble, and macro alsge.
