need help lighting question

ok i have a 50 gallon pentagon corner tank its and awkward shape and size im running 2 power compact 65w each i need to know if i should upgrade to 6x24w t-5 or 4x65w pc with the 150w hqi halide keep in mind that this would be a retro fit kit and plus im only working with 24x8 area. please give me some input on it

What kind of animals are you keeping in the tank? How deep is it?

saltwater fish i have bubble tip 2 anomenes 1 t.r. clown,1 velvet dansel, astera snails, crabs, 2 tiger conchs, 1 pearly jawfish its not much but i taking it slow 1 piece at a time i would like to do soft corals and a couple of tree sponges and a couple more t.r. clowns the tank is 23inch deep

I would prefer T5s over PC. Dont look for the Watts, keep in mind that T5s penetrate more than PCs and just in case if you decide to add any LPS or SPS later on you wont have to worry about upgrading your light fixture.
