Looking for my first RO unit (in UK)

Im thinking of getting one as the trip to get water is far, and i lose a lot in evaporation.

so i need my own.

i need one thats
a, easy to install (if thats possible)
b, a decent price for a home system.
c, uk available!

i looked into melev's which looked awesome but then read he wont ship to the UK!
Damn!

any advice or reccomendations are welcome!

Cheers!

Glad to hear it works well.
Does it give you all the nessesary fitments? or did you have to source them yourself?

That looks good to me. is the "self piercing valve" the same kind of thing that melev does? where you screw it into the copper piping?

it came with everything required, all the filter bits and bobs including the resin beads and carrbon and has replacement parts at my lfs, i bought it from a place called aqua jardin, there are afew in the gloucester area, dont know if they are near you, but hey they would deliver anywhere in the uk, try looking on line, i have tested the ro-di it makes and the water is pure and easy to make as well as quite quick too

I definitely recommend using RO-Man that unit does come with the pierecing valve, the same as Melevs units. So simple to setup.

i actually connect mine to and outside tape, the sort you can connect a hose pipe to, but mine came with the piercing valve and instructions, and i totally agree with kar 93 100% it is very simple to set up i highly recommend it

This sounds the best connection for me as i rent the house and dont want to be piercing their copper pipes unless i have to.

Does the hose connection usually come with the kits or are these seperate?

Edit: i believe i found the fitting?

no you have to buy 1 its about £3.50 it basically is exactly like a washing machine connection, i think the RO-MAN people recommend it in their brochure, im sure the company you would buy it from would know, it really is so simple and worth investing in
