Clown not eating....
Just wondering why my clown (female) is only eating the large mysis and not the hikari mysis or the mysis/cyclopeeze combo. She eats it and then regurgitates it, very wierd. So it is not like she has no appetite or isnt looking for food, she just no longer likes what I am feeding I guess. Any ideas?

Have you tryed to use selcon or another garlic additive to the shrimp? I use fresh finely ground garlic mixed in with my mysis and cyclopeeze and they love it.

since it eats the larger mysis but just not the other stuff, probably doesn't like the other stuff. My first pair of ocellaris were picky enough that when I even picked up the "wrong" food, they went straight back to their home and ignored me, but when I picked up the right stuff, they'd beg and beg and beg. (yeah, they actually seemed to reconigze the various food containers I used)
How long have you had this fish for? New? I second the recommendation for garlic additions. I've never ground my own for SW setups, I use garlic guard, minced, or Entice for that, but have ground cloves for many o' FW tanks. Not all fish will actually eat it or the foods soaked in it, but man it sure does make em at the very least go around and taste the food.

I have had the fish for a while now, over 2 months....and when I first switched over to the hikari mysis she ate it, and a lot of it. I will have to start adding garlic to it to see if it helps....any kind of regular cooking garlic will do?
