Low calcium levels...
Bought some purple up and have been dosing it daily for about a week now...I purchased it before I read the bad stories about it. What else can i do to raise my calcium levels because this is just not doing it...help guys

I'm not sure how involved you want to get into understanding parameters, but regardless it is important to understand that calcium, alk and magnesium are all interconnected and rely on one another. A good idea is to skim over the reef chemistry forum. You don't need to be an expert, but it is a really good idea to understand what can/will/may happen by dosing and how to pick a balanced regime that is right for you.

Also looking at your thread it really doesn't look like you need to be concerned with calcium addition yet. Regular water changes at this point should be more than adequate

What kind of salt do you use? if it's instant ocean they run there calcium in the mix at 350 you may need to dose. Oceanic salt runs at 530. I found this out first hand my calcium is at 520 now I switched back to instant ocean to bring it down some.
