Totally NOT reef related, BRACKISH if someone can help *Shrimp*

Allllright.... so cutting to the chase. I am going to be raising small Brackish shrimp (and I REALLY mean small) Hawaiian Red Shrimp. However I was wondering if anyone out there has had these or is keeping these. Do they fare well with higher flow aquariums? I have a nano Koralia in their soon to be destined aquarium (I wont use it if it's not good). What are your opinions on this (IF you can help me on the subject) it's alright if nobody knows... I am just fishing for advice and I know this has absolutely nothing to do with tropical fish etc but I was just hoping for some help *I'll keep my fingers crossed* I believe their max size is 1.5 cm

I know what Brackish means. I just don't know if people here are raising these shrimp in particular so I am trying to get advice in case someone has. Thanks anyway!

I never attempted it, but I read up a whole lot on these shrimp... I assume you want to breed these as food for a seahorse? That is typically what they are raised for. As for flow, you do not need any flow at all.

These shrimp are native to hot brackish pools of water that are not connected to the ocean, so they do not have any flow in their natural environment.

From what I read they are hardy little guys, so they will tolerate a wide range of salinity and temperature, so they may be fine with higher flow as long as they are not sucked into pumps/overflows/etc.

These red shrimp are actually what are used in the "ecospheres"

thanks Kep for the pointer : ) I am actually going to raise and breed to try and help spread these as pets in the hobby. I have heard they are widely used as seahorse food (they must be irresistible) I'll totally try to do more research and reading and posting on that board, I appreciate the help! thanks again!
