1) Ocellaris & maroon clownfish (captive bred)
2) dottybacks (especially captive bred) 3) 3 & 4-stripe, domino, Talbot's, blue & bowtie damsels 4) Genicanthus angels (specifically Lamarck's) 5) grammas/basslets 6) chalk bass 7) sixline, Christmas, lunare, some fairy & other wrasses (provided you start with a healthy specimen, many wrasses are tough as nails once they're established) 8) many gobies (shrimp gobies, yellow & green clown gobies, and sand-sifters are all hardy, provided you start out with a healthy fish that's eating well) 9) some blennies (midas, lawnmower, bicolor & other common blennies in particular) 10) many dwarf angels (IF you start with a healthy specimen, these are durable and forgiving fish. Halfblack, pygmy, lemonpeel & coral beauties seem the toughest IME)

I'd have to go with a saltwater converted Molly too.

How hard is it to convert a freshwater molly to a saltwater environment?

If you want to convert a freshwater fish to salt, you just have to do it really slowly. In my experience, though, mollies are indestructible.
As for real saltwater fish, my picks are: 1. tank-bred occelaris clown 2. yellow-tail damsel These two could survive a nuclear winter...kinda. |
