Help w/ location! (ASAP)
Hey y'all,
Well i thought i had everything rolling just fine, but my parents have decided they may not want the aquarium to be placed where i picked. This is the place i picked: It is in the formal living room, put nobody ever walks in there because it is kinda secluded. So that is why my parents say it would be stupid to have it there. This is where they want it: It is a little walk way between the kitchen and the living room. It will replace where that yellow stained cabinet is at. There is a socket behind it which will work, but i am afraid that there might be too much traffic in that area scarring away everything!! And that window might offer to much sun in the morning. It faces east (where the sun rises) and by 12p.m it is over the roof of the house. What do y'all think? Should i move it???!! Any help/info will be appreciated Al

I would look into other Alternative locations. I wouln't think having it too close to the kitchen would be a good idea because of air quality with cooking and cleaning chemicals. On the other hand you want it located in an area where it will bring the most enjoyment to the family.

Are you kidding me?
I move mine every 6 months... In the summer time it sits in the middle of the backyard without any tops... no need for lights - all natural! Cat's love to come over and watch too! In the winter time, I put it in the garage. When I want to turn the lights on, I just start the car and let it run for a few hours...

jeffltodd -
Your right! I cannot believe i did not think about that. I have a nice big lawn, heck maybe i can upgrade and buy a 300g because i also have an extra long three door garage. playa-1 - flavum - I figured it out, after talking to my parents, we are going to move it to the end of the living room (not the formal) where there is traffic but not that much to scare everything away!!m

Fish get used to the traffic, mine even really come alive when they see me because they think they might get fed.
