need help designing/setting up new tank

I am looking to set up my first tank! It will be a prop tank to hold mainly sps and a few lps corals. I plan on using a smaller 26 gallon tank because I found one for an excellent price with an all oak stand and hand built canopy that can house T-5's or MH. Because of the size of the stand I do not know what I can use as a sump. I am currently thinking about using a 20 gallon long, but I have since discovered that it will not fit. So I am going to need some help as to what I should use for the sump, probably a 10 gallon?

So far this is the equiptment that I have purchased.
26 gallon, stand, and canopy
5 1.5" bulkheads
700GPH Glass-Holes overflow kit
2 24" Reef White 10k T-5's
2 24" Reef White 14k T-5's
IceCap 430 Ballast, wiring kit, stand offs, and end caps
Modded Euro-Reef 6-2+ with recirculating and gate valve mod

I need help determining the return pump size, I would like to go with something small such as a Mag 3 or 5 to keep the flow thru the sump very low in order for the skimmer to skim as good as it possibly can. And then use a Mag 9.5 (36x turnover) or a Mag 12 (46x turnover) for the closed loop. I would love to hear any suggestion from anyone! I want this to be awesome!

For a return you genereally want 5-10 times turnover rate. somehting in that range

For the return I would like rather slow flow because of the extremely high flow in the tank via the closed loop I am going to implemment.

5x26 would be 130 gph. slower than that?
