Closed loop 36"x36"x27"

The intake to the sump is in the middle, would is be ok to use a Oceans Motions 4 and make the holes where I placed them now ?

I am thinking of making a small island in the middle of the tank with lr.

How big you think the holes should be to get the best use of the OM4. If its all up to the return pump, give me examples on return pumps to use to this size of tank.
