Bubble Algae

Hi everyone...my first post in RC and just wanted to thank everyone here for their great knowledge. I am new to the hobby and enjoying every bit of it.

I just noticed some bubble algae growing on the base of my LR. I know i need to remove it but was wondering if I should take it out of the tank first.

Thanks for the assistance.

To Reef Central

if you can, definetly take the rock out of the tank and use tweezers to pluck it off the live rock
