how to get rid of vermetid snail?
I notice the population of vermetid snail are growing like crazy.
I better stop it before it gets out of hand. I'm planning on using plier to remove them. If I do, I have to move liverock out of water because I worry grease on plier getting into water. Another problem with this method is there are rocks can't be removed. Also, I found at least one vermetid snail attached to my overflow box. How do you get rid of them? It'll be great if you show me a easier and/or better way to do this. thanks |

you can superglue over the end of them in places you cant take the rock out ... let a small blob get tacky on a toothpick first so you dont let strands of super glue float off into your tank (fish eats it its a gonner) once its tacky you should beable to use it in your tank with out it getting everywhere

Reduce the food source. You might be overfeeding your tank or feeding one type they like more then others do.
