Zoa questions

My 55g (my first tank) has been very stable for over a year. I just ordered my first specimens online. I decided to go for some zoas, after adding some other easy to keep soft stuff that has done very well in my tank (some ricordeas & some frogspawn). My question is, what basic info do I need to know to keep them happy?

I had 3 peppermint shrimp that completely ate 2 green ricordeas in my tank, and attacked my frogspawn WHILE it was in my hand being introduced into my tank!!! I removed 2 of the bigger ones. The remaining shrimp hasn't seemed to bother the frogspawn or the remaining orange rics that I have. I also have a coupla emerald crabs that seem harmless, a mandarin goby, 2 clowns, and 2 chromis.

I also have some sort of brown sand polyps with long stalks that have done well, and some sort of green button type polyps that have done well.

I was wondering about placement, as far as lighting and flow. I have the Aquactinics unit with 5 x T5, and I have an extra Koralia pump for flow. Should I place them on the sand? Or on the rocks? What type of flow do they like? Are there any predators I should watch for? Do I need to target feed, or monitor any thing special on the water? Any other tips from successful zoo keepers?

Thanks in advance for your help!!!
