metalic torch coral (green torch) lost three heads

Hello all,

Does anyone know about this coral(metalic green torch)? If so i am curious to know, if the coral loses tentacles or even entire heads of tentacles, can they grow back? i dont think the coral is going to lose anymore. it lost two heads within 2 days of having it, (im pretty sure it was due to shipping stess) and then it lost another head due to the fact that i was trying to replace it in a faster moving current spot in the tank and dropped it twice. However, no worries about current anymore because i am now runing approx 2200 gph in my 75g mostly due to twin hydor koralia movement pumps.
In conclusion, any info about recomended care/tips about this coral or info on whether the tentacles will grow back on those bare heads, and if so how to do it. If not what should i do with the bare heads, remove them?. If so how?

-thanks
---T.J.

I don't believe it will grow new heads from the bare heads. But if the conditions are right it should grow new heads. I wouldn't touch the coral right now to break off the bare heads. Let it settle and adapt to it's new environment.

I had two of them. They did great in the beginning, but then the heads just fell off, until there were none. Hopefully it's just shipping stress. But as I said if it is opening up nicely, just leave it alone for a while.
