One of my friends just asked me this question and I really wasnt sure, she has 2 grouper fish(im not sure what kind the are) in her 100 gallon tank and she wants to start puting corals in the tank, so would there a problem with doing so?

I don't think they will hurt corals, but all smaller fish and inverts will become food. 2 groupers in a 100 gallon is kind of pushing it as well.

As far as corals go, they will be fine. However with two groupers in a 100 gallon I would be concerned about the water quality -- they get big and produce a lot of waste.

Good for you.

The last thing she should do is add corals to that tank.
