Led Good Or Bad

Is led lighting good or bad. What is it comperable to. What is the recomened watts per gallon. And are they any good used alone with no other type of lighting.

Just a quick bit of info...its not the amount of watts that count as much as it is par. Leds are fairly new so I don't think you'll get as much help as you will opinions. I will tell you this much though...leds are the future.
