White Slugs After Lights Out

I noticed tonight after my lights went off that there were a couple of white slugs crawling around on my LR. They were about 3/4" to 1" long and obviously were not in a shell or anything. Just wondering what these are and if they are problematic.

From what you've described, they could be a number of things- do a google image search of nudibranchs, for a start, especially if they have what look like feathery appendages growing out of their backs.

They could be stomatella. That would be my guess. But, it's hard without a picture. Are you sure they didn't have a small shell covering their back? Not something they can hide in, just a small amount of protection.

Agreed, sounds like stomatella to me, they have a shell, but barely noticable to the naked eye.... BTW, a very good sign of a happy healthy reef, consider it a good thing, assuming that it is stomatella.....

That's weird, I just saw some of those a couple days ago in my tank. It's not really a healthy tank, just one that is almost like a refugium. The snail things didn't look like they had a shell, and also they had little white dots of color that looked like they were in the middle of the greyish body.
