Added fish to tank...Now have pretty cloudy water
Id consider my water cloudy compared to what it normally is but its certainly nothing bad at all...How can I clear this up? I have about 10 snails for a CuC in my 30 gallon. There is a yellow tailed damsel and 2 clown fish. I have water clarifier in a bottle but not sure if I want to add it. Will just a water change be my only option?

running carbon is normally the best way to clear up cloudy water. I sure wouldn't add any chemicals...

Add carbon, or, better yet, chemi-pure.

Did you let the tank cycle? How much time elapsed between you putting water and rock in the tank, and you adding fish? Did you add all 3 fish at once?

The tank with rock and sand has cycled for 8 weeks with Ro/DI water

Bacterial bloom. Relatively harmless but unsightly.
Wait it out or get a UV filter. |
