my LFS ( maidenhead aquatics ) have a LARGE aquarium --measures 10.5 x 10.5 x 3 ft or 3.8 x 3.8 x 0.9 m and holds in excess of 2000 gallons/9500 litres

2 years ago WNC had two marine lfs' and both had kick *** reef stock. Petmarket tried to to get in on their growing customer base, but had school kids for employee's. I'm not certain but I really don't think they new what they were selling and I picked up several Frogspawns, Gorgonians, and other SPS for less than you could get them through Dr. Fosters. Great Hatian LR that I was able to Hand pick out of their curing Tanks. After the employee's Stole the store keys and robbed the place clean, "they were all arrested", The store stopped selling reef stock. ---Along came Asheville aquariums. They bought up massive amounts of corals LR and put one of the other store's out of business and nearly sank the other as well.
my favorite LFS items, The blue spotted octopus, the six foot gray shark and a seven foot alligator. Great stuff at feeding time. That gator is quick as hell and in my opinion "will break free someday"
