Look for some hidden built up detritus. The fact that all your tests are coming out clean is that the algae are using it to grow. I had a big outbreak when I first got into the hobby and was relying on test kits to tell me what was wrong. It turned out that I had a dead spot in the back of the tank that I couldn’t see. There was about a quarter inch of built up waste. I sucked it out, pulled out as much algae as I could by hand, and dropped a power head back there. The algae has not come back after about a year now.

None ever really goes to waste, but I guess it might make the fish poop more. I am using RO/DI, so water is also not the problem. I guess I will do some water changes and cut back a little bit on the food. Ill do some research on the sea hare as well as that sounds like it could be a good idea. My t-5's are also coming up on about the 10 month mark, so I dont think they need to be replaced yet, but I have heard of old light scontirbuting to algae. Thanks for all of the responses and ideas guys, I really appreciate it!
I would change the bulbs.... I had the same issue you have, tried everything everyone is suggesting, I finally changed my 9 month old bulbs.... 2 weeks later it all disapeared with continuall plucking

IMO lights

Maybe Ill look into changin gmy lights a little early if nothing else helps. Looking for detritus also may help, but theat engineer goby keeps stuff stirred pretty well.

And about that comment about the rabbitfish looking hungry; To me he looks perfectly fine, I have had him for months and his stomach is always fat, but if you look closely it looks like there is an area that is slightly sunken in and that is why my neighbor said I should feed him more. He is still very healthy and active and that spot still has not bulked up so I am thinking taht may just be the natural shape of the fish.

Um, I just fed my fish and it dawned on me that not all frozen food cubes are the same size. Perhaps it would be a good idea to make sure we're using an apples to apples comparison for feeding amount and frequency.
