20K Metal Halides
I just bought some 20K metal halides.
Does it take a little time for the deep blue to kick in? |

What type are they?
Mine ( XMs, 250 SE ) actually got brighter after they burned in, and I am very pleased with the color now.

They are 400 watts.
It is very bright. No blue hue at all. LPS told me that there is a "burn in" period before the blue hue really settles in. Is this true? |

There is usually a burn in period of a day or two before the true color comes in, but it really depends on what brand they are. Some brands of 14Ks are more blue than 20ks of other brands.

I hope this is true. |

I bought them off of e-bay.
They are stamped with 20k but my 14k bulbs run bluer. E-bay might be the problem. Bought them from great del. I have seen some positive remarks on them in the lighting forum. I was just wondering if they got bluer over time cause if not i'm going to get some other bulbs. |
