Can i use a spray paint on my overflow?
i was wondering if i caould use a nontoxic spray paint on my clear overflow will it harm the fish? does anyone know of something i could use? i wanted to paint it black to match my background. any help is greatly appreciated

I wouldn't use paint on anything even if it said reefsafe. I'd get a thin piece of black acrylic cut to size and glue on over the existing.

You will need to rough it up for the paint to stick and use paint made for plastic.

You could use kylon fusion, but I second the black acrylic overflow cover. I have one on my tank and it is nice to pull off and clean, plus see into the overflow when I need to (I don't have access to the rear of my tank).
