I just purchased a used 90 gallon oceanic for 325 dollars. The guy before me must have never cleaned tank as it has a film coating on the inside with algae growth on the silicon seams. He also used cichlid salt in the tank as well. Now i bought this tank and am sitting here dissapointed in my purchase. To the point right? My question is what can i use to clean this film off the tank and on the seams to make this baby look new? It will be a reef tank project for me so i want to be sure i dont use anything to hurt me in the long run. If you awsome fish experts could help that would be awesome.

Use white vinegar and a rag to clean the silicone.
You can use a razor blade on the glass, but don't go near the seams with it.
