Do I use vinegar to clean my DAS skimmer pump?
I have a DAS EX-2 skimmer. I've yet to clean the bottom section or pumps. I plan to do that tommorow, but I'm not sure if I should just use clean fresh water to clean the 2 pumps, or if I should use vinegar or somthing. Any suggestions would be great. I really wanna try to make this thing last. Also, how often do you recommend cleaning them?

After the soaking, run it in vinegar for a couple of hours.
