What is the best hang on skimmer?
Hey All,
My wife has a 40 gal seahorse tank, right now she has a bakpak skimmer on it and it is not doing the job. What do you all think is the best hang on skimmer? I am looking at the Deltec MCE 300 but it's 300 bucks! I don't want anything I have to mess with, I just want something that works. What do you think? Thanks Joe |

Deltec. Everything else is a toy compared to the deltec

^^^ Good one! lol
There's plenty of nice hot's out there now. I'd take an octo 100f over a deltec 300. For a 40g the octo would work fine and is around 150bux. |

I'd try an Octopus HOB unit as well, for a tank that size.

I use a CPR AquaFuge with 2 Hang-on Refugium and a Protein Skimmer, Large, I have owned it for 3 years and never have problems.
