I want to build my own sump today.What do I need?

I have a 5 g glass tank but can buy a 10g.I know I need 5 pieces of cut glass need silicone.Can I use my cpr bak pac as the skimmer?I also have a rio return pump.I want a place to put some rocks, cheato,pump, heater and skimmer? What PVC plumbig supplies do I need?

There lots of good info there.

I think you're going to want to go bigger. You will have to see what is the largest container that you can fit into the space that you have to work with.

You also have to consider how your going to get water too and from the sump/fuge.

Yes, i agree with Playa-1. His references are excellent!! Working with acrylic is fun once you have the basic skills down.
